This week celebrates the end of my 20th anniversary in business as well as the beginning of my 52nd trip around the sun. In honor of these occasions, my website received a much needed facelift which I am excited to share today. Please take a peek clicking on the image above!
There is new photography documenting our interior design, projects, updated press stories, details about our design process, our online shop, and how we celebrated twenty years of creating artistic interiors.
By nature, I am an excessively optimistic person, but there have been many days over the past year when I have wanted to retire. I recently read a post that said, “2020 changed me, 2021 opened my eyes, and 2022 broke me.” All of my design colleagues can relate to this sentiment. The supply chain issues, shipping debacles, incessant up charges, insurance claims, lack of quality control, and overall pandemic fatigue definitely have taken its toll. Thank you to our clients that endured these obstacles with us as we all tried to figure out our new normal working conditions.
Despite the challenging conditions, we have been able to make lemonade out of lemons for our clients during the pandemic. It has been lovely to see families prioritize where they want to live when times are tough and carve out beautiful spaces for their families.
Anyone that enters this profession yearns to help others… Designers seek to help their clients live beautiful lives that reflect their specific tastes and family needs. The creative part is what keeps me going…I am happiest when I am designing and creating interiors for others to enjoy. We have had some amazing bucket list moments this past year from working on the Kips Bay Showhouse to our 20th Anniversary Celebration which will be detailed in future posts.
Working on this website has been a labor of love. Looking back at the past twenty years and all the incredible opportunities I have had is very humbling. I am beyond grateful to the village that helped us reach this anniversary…clients, vendors, workrooms, friends, and family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
