Nothing gets me into the Christmas decorating spirit more than visiting a Holiday Showhouse. Seeing how interior designers incorporate brilliant colors including chartreuse, aubergine, midnight blue, and fuchsia into stunning holiday interiors gets my creative juices flowing for how I want to deck my own halls at home. Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles magazine recently opened its 9th annual Home for the Holidays Showhouse benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Click HERE to purchase tickets to the beautiful home on view through December 10th.
Nestled on a two acre private wooded hillside, the new home evokes a stately English country home. The 5-bedroom, 8,800-square foot Showhouse features custom-made brick and locally sourced and aged granite for the exterior and integrates structured, classical design with more modern, casual living space. Twenty of Atlanta’s top interior designers have transformed the estate designed by Atlanta architecture firm Harrison Design and built by Sheehan Built Homes.
May these interiors inspire some new ideas for your own holiday decorating….Enjoy!
