AN UNFORGETTABLE ROMP IN PARIS

“Each of us has an enchanted vision that we carry around in the treasure house of our minds….your personal approach to your own magic.” -Tony Duquette

Every winter, the interior design community descends on Paris for the global trade fair Maison et Objet and Deco Off where over 100 fabric and furniture houses showcase their new collections. During the 10th anniversary of Deco Off in Paris, I had the lovely opportunity to host a dinner and salon in the beautiful Parisian flat of designers Frank di Biasi and Gene Meyer thanks to Austin Mill.

My theme was “An Unforgettable Romp in Paris: An Evening Inspired by Elsie de Wolfe and Tony Duquette,” It was a tribute to the friendship between these two iconic designers known for their extraordinary impact on our industry. Elise de Wolfe was a consummate hostess in Paris before the war hosting nightly salons with her creative coterie of friends. It was the perfect occasion to celebrate my design friends in the City of Lights.
